Fulton: Traffic pacing Sunday AM on GA 400 NB/SB near I-285

6 am - Noon Sunday Nov. 22: All lanes of traffic paced intermittently on GA 400 NB/SB between Hammond Dr. and Abernathy Rd. and on I-285 EB/WB ramps to GA 400 NB. Motorists should expect heavy delays Sunday morning and are strongly advised to use alternate routes.

Statewide: Lane Closures Suspended Nov. 25-29

5 am Wed. Nov. 25 - Midnight Sun. Nov. 29: To make traveling easier over the upcoming Thanksgiving holidays, Georgia DOT will suspend construction-related lane closures on interstates and major state routes.

Expect heavy holiday traffic the Wednesday before and the Sunday after Thanksgiving, two of the busiest travel days of the year.

Wednesday: Rush-hour could start as early as Noon and continue through 7 p.m.
Friday: Traffic will be heavy throughout the day around malls and retail centers.
Sunday: Traffic is expected to be heavy throughout the day and evening as travelers head home.

Cobb: Old Hwy 41 Closed - Traffic Detoured

Coweta: Roadwork on I-85 NB/SB Exits 61-47

Through Dec. 31, 2009: Traffic reduced to 2 travel lanes and shifted on I-85 NB/SB at various locations Exits 61-47. More information.
